Raising Awareness

LDNaware is a volunteer group devoted to raising world-wide awareness of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) as a treatment for autoimmune diseases, cancer and HIV/AIDS.  Because LDN is a new use of the inexpensive generic drug, Naltrexone, many physicians are currently unaware of it's benefits.

By raising awareness and sharing testimonies of those who have experience taking LDN, our goal is to spread knowledge and initiate government-funded research to make LDN more readily available for all.

While LDN currently requires a physician's prescription, the drug only costs about a dollar a day and is non-toxic.  For these reasons, LDNaware believes LDN should be tried early upon disease diagnosis before more costly, toxic drugs are involved.  Unfortunately, today most people do not learn about LDN until they have suffered permanent disability and often significant financial hardship.

LDN represents a break-through therapy for immunologically-related disorders.  Instead of suppressing the body's immune system like most drugs, LDN causes a 2-300% increase in endorphin production the day after it is taken, causing a modulation of T-cell function critical to a healthy, balanced immune system.  The result is a body that is better prepared to heal itself.

While taking LDN may not affect the cost of your Prudential Financial or Aviva Life Insurance, your support of LDNaware could help improve the lives of many.
