In August 2008, my wife and I were enjoying Life Boat Day in Wexford, Ireland. The following day we headed to Tallaght hospital in Dublin for an appointment where she was diagnosed with Stage IV Non Small Lung Cancer (NSCLC) and given 2 to 6 months to live. We really needed a Life Boat now (hence the logo ). After finding LDN on the Internet, I decided to set-up a database to learn just how good it was going to be for my wife. After a lot of help from the great people on the LDN Yahoo Group,  The LDN Database is what it is today.

16 months later and my wife is doing great and almost cancer free. So what better place to share our story where people who find themselves in the same terrible position can see what LDN can do for them. The more people that share their story on the LDN Database, the more people in the future will be given hope.

We have tried to keep this website as simple as possible and it only takes a few seconds to enter your details. So I ask everybody on LDN to add their details good or bad to help people in the future, you could save somebody's life.
